Simplicity Sandwiches & Coffee

1st visit was take-away: both their croissant and chocolate croissant (pain au chocolat) are very good, with a texture and a taste similar to the quality ones in France, however with less butter. Country sourdough is thinly sliced which creates a nice crunchiness after toasting. Only the baguette is not a recommended product, as a little dry and not having the expected crust. Price is very affordable for the level of quality (croissant RM5 and chocolate croissant at RM6.5). 2nd visit is dine-in: lunch set price at RM20 is also very affordable with the Sourdough ribeye steak and Americano. This sandwich contains mayonnaise, traditional French mustard with seeds (not the strong one), fresh tomatoes, pickles and tasty ribeye strips. Coffee is good also. For the indoor seating, the space is partly shared with the bakery workshop. The outdoor space is limited to 2 camping seats (as per last photo). The place is less than 15 minutes walk from station Maluri. Easier accessible from the LRT exit than MRT exit, as doesn’t have to cross busy street to be on the correct side. Then, when arriving at the condominium, passing a small food court, then go further inside this ground area and it will be on the right side.

Cozy atmosphere. Decent price for a cafe. The food was fresh the egg mago sandwich n steak baguette. Ice lemon tea was not that sweet and the flavour isnt that strong. Love the chocolate tart it was amazing !! I strongly recommend the chocolate tart, its not too sweet and it’s rich in chocolate. Food was prepared quite fast and staff is friendly.

I found it based on the location here, but the location shown on Google was different from the location on the address. After wandering around for a while, I was able to find the right one with the help of the owner of the mall, which is located nowhere else I can see on Google. Maybe it's because it's been relocated recently, I think they need to change the address. I hoped the food would be as good as I had a hard time finding it, but it was so so so good. There's a park nearby, and I found the perfect place to enjoy my morning hours. Start with coffee and sandwiches in the morning.

We come to ‘Simplicity’ quite frequently. This nondescript cafe is a kind of place you might walk past without a second glance - unassuming, with no flashy signage or trendy decor to lure you in. But what it lacks in aesthetics, it makes up for in substance. The bread and pastries are baked in house. The ribeye (double beef) baguette is our all time favourite. The baguette is thin, crisp, and golden brown with a slight sheen and shatters slightly when bitten. The double tuna sourdough is airy with irregular holes, showing strong fermentation and hydration control. It is slightly chewy but not dense. The croissant which is buttery with a hint of sweetness really sets it apart. Overall, the quality is consistent.

Ordered a ribeye steak baguette with a iced long black. The sandwich is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The overall combination is good.

Love the sourdough n baguettes. Coffee was not bad too. Affordable n yummy foods. We parked our car in the park opposite the condo n walk over since can’t find any parking at the roadside. It’s located in the atrium of the condo n not facing outside the main road. So, just walk inside and look for it

From Damansara to Cheras just coz my colleague was craving for sandwiches. Love the bread, kinda sad their baguette was out for me to take home, but managed to bring back a loaf of sourdough and a couple sammies. Definitely a hidden gem. Low key wanna gate keep but too good not to share.
